House of Wale was born from a homecoming. — Samuel Omowale Aduayi, Founder

Every piece arrives in a hand-finished rosewood presentation box with a piano-gloss finish, a gold House of Wale emblem on the lid, and a signed, numbered certificate of authenticity inside — built to be photographed before it's ever worn.

Mr. Series One is a self-winding automatic watch built at 44mm — no battery, powered by a wound mainspring and a rotor that keeps it running as long as you wear it. Every piece ships in a hand-finished rosewood presentation box with a signed, numbered certificate of authenticity, part of a 100-piece numbered run.

This is a pre-order piece — full production timeline and return terms are detailed below.

Warranty & Care

One-year manufacturer's warranty on the automatic movement. If a covered defect occurs, House of Wale will repair, replace, or otherwise make it right — and return shipping is on us, not you.

This warranty covers the movement only; it does not extend to the case, bracelet, crystal, or cosmetic wear.

Care: keep away from strong magnets, avoid dropping or knocking the case against hard surfaces, and wipe clean with a soft, dry cloth. The movement is self-winding — wear it regularly to keep it running accurately.

Is this a replica or a knockoff?

No. This is a House of Wale design. A square skeleton automatic is a category of watch, not a brand's trademark — the same way "chronograph" belongs to no one. The name on this dial is House of Wale, and nothing else.

Is a Dandong movement any good?

Dandong movements are Chinese-manufactured automatics — reliable, accurate to a few seconds a day, and the reason this watch can exist at $89. What you're paying for beyond the movement is design, presentation, and a box most $300 watches don't ship with.

What is the case actually made of?

The case is a precision alloy, with a stainless steel bracelet — chosen to hit this price point without pretending to be something it isn't. If you ask us directly: it's alloy, not solid steel. We'd rather you hear that from us than find out later and feel misled.

I found something similar for less. Why buy here?

You probably can find a similar case and movement elsewhere. You can't find this box, this number, or this name on the dial. That's what $89 actually buys.

What if it breaks, or I just don't want it?

Full refund any time before it ships. 14 days to return it after it arrives, no explanation required.
